With his father’s support, he firstly joined an elementary school and start taking saxophone lessons everyday to perdue his career. After passing an audition in daegu, V became a trainee for Big Hit Entertainment. V enrolled in global cyber University after graduating from Korean Art high school in 2014. He graduated in August 2020 with a major in Broadcasting and Entertainment. Then he enrolled at Hanyang Cyber University in 2021, persuing a Master of Business Adminstration in advertising and media.
Kim’s journey started when he made a remix of “Old School Love” with his new bandmate Jimin. Ed Sheeran uploaded it on SoundCloud to celebrate their graduation. Kim released many albums Stigma, Intro Singularity, Inner child, It’s definitely you, Sweet night and Christmas tree.
He released songs like 95 graduation, 4’OClock, Scenery, Winter bear and Snow flower.
Kim hosted many shows like MBC, KBS2, MBS, SBS, etc.
He appeared in television series Hwarang: The Poet Warrior youth. In 2019, Kim appeared in Winter bear music video.
He joined Bangton boys in 2011 but he was not revealed as an official member of the band until 2013.
