David Banda is an adopted son of famous American singer Madonna. He was adopted from a nursing home in Malawi. However, the process of adoption was not easy for Madonna. A month later, Madonna, the famous celebrity singer visited the orphanage while touring for one of her charity program, she saw David for the first time. David was suffering from pneumonia.
He was not well and sufferring from pneumonia. He was at the verge of death. Madonna immediately filled thr adoption form and wanted the baby as soon as possible. According to reports, his biological parent’s names are Yohane Banda(father) and Marita Banda (mother). Madonna was still married with guy Ritchie when she was going to adopt David. As a result, Guy Ritchie was his legal father. After completing all the legal formalities, David was handed over to Madonna. She named the baby David Banda Mwale Ciccone Ritchie which includes the name of Madonna’s then husband, Guy Ritchie and his birthplace.
At the time of adoption of David, Madonna also filled the form of divorce. She was battling for the custody of her biological son with the Guy Ritchie. Then Yohane came into the picture and said that David future will be affected due to controversial lifestyle of Madonna. He wanted the celebrity singer to resolve her other legal issues. Madonna again had to go through all the legal procedures for adoption. Finally after a long run, she adopted David and visited Malawi for the first time at his birthplace.
According to the report, David has four sisters Lourdes Leon, Madonna’s first biological child, Mercy James, an adoptive sisters and twins Esther and Stella Mwale. David is also the brother of actors Rocco John Ritchie and Rafael Ritchie.
